Since 2024, I collaborate as a teacher with the Training and Resources Center (CFR) of the Xunta de Galicia, delivering specialized training in emerging technologies to Secondary and High School teachers.

My work consists of training teachers in areas such as Machine Learning, Python and C programming, electronics with Arduino and development of educational projects with current technologies, all within the Creative Hubs Program of the Xunta de Galicia.

Machine Learning for Education

Training in the theoretical and mathematical fundamentals of Machine Learning, adapted to Secondary and High School educational level.

Contents taught:

  • Mathematical fundamentals of ML: linear algebra and statistics
  • Classification and regression algorithms
  • Model training and validation
  • Python libraries: NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib
  • Educational projects with teaching datasets
🐍

Python Programming

Teaching Python from fundamentals to practical applications in data analysis and educational projects.

Contents taught:

  • Basic syntax and data structures
  • Object-oriented programming
  • Data manipulation with Pandas
  • Data visualization with Matplotlib
  • Development of projects applied to teaching
⚑

C Programming

Training in C language, focused on understanding fundamental programming concepts and embedded systems.

Contents taught:

  • C language syntax and structure
  • Memory management and pointers
  • Basic data structures
  • Microcontroller programming
  • Educational practical projects
πŸ”§

Arduino and Educational Electronics

Practical training in Arduino for the development of electronics and robotics projects in the classroom.

Contents taught:

  • Arduino platform: boards and shields
  • Microcontroller programming
  • Sensor reading and actuator control
  • Educational projects: traffic lights, robots, dataloggers
  • Integration with other technologies (Python, IoT)

Structure of a CFR Course

Training and Resources Center courses are designed to train teachers in the integration of new technologies in the classroom.

1

On-site Sessions

Intensive on-site training at CFR facilities or collaborating educational centers.

2

Teaching Materials

Technical documentation, source code, presentations and resources to apply in the classroom.

3

Practical Projects

Development of real projects that teachers can replicate with their students.

4

Post-Course Follow-up

Technical support to resolve questions during implementation in educational centers.

πŸ“‹ Applied Methodology

Courses are structured with a practical approach, where approximately 70% of the time is dedicated to exercises, projects and experimentation with hardware/software, and the remaining 30% to necessary theoretical fundamentals.

All contents are adapted to the educational context, with examples and projects that teachers can implement directly in their Technology, Computer Science or STEM subjects.

Training Scope

🏫 Educational Centers

Teachers from public and charter schools throughout Galicia participating in Creative Hubs

πŸ“Š Modality

On-site training in groups of 10-20 teachers per course

🎯 Impact

Trained teachers bring learned technologies to hundreds of students in their classrooms
